It's gone - the 20th century is passed. And 15 people celebrated that event together in snowy Innsbruck, capital of Austrian federal state Tirol. As this was the second revival of the legendary 96 Innsbruck Party, organization was nearly perfect:

• best pick-up service by four hell-drivers McG, poppy P., J.J. & three-wheel racer H.D
• accommodation in a clean and friendly youth hostel (thanx A.)
• restaurant reservations by our OL M.
• and last but not least first aid by rope master K., the Bandage Sensei!

Having started the event on Dec 29th we arrived in Innsbruck in separate groups. So four event members could already test ski conditions and weather forecast came true right on time. Snow felt in the evening and our last car's driver had to fight with icy roads and foggy viewing conditions. Then it was time to throw away all swimming suits we prepared in case winter wouldn't show up.

It was almost easy to find the youth hostel "Fritz Prior-Schwedenhaus", laying right beside the Inn river (right-hand!). The host is a very friendly and generous native, sitting almost 24h behind his desk in the wide lobby. Armed with his mic he gives you every advice where to eat or drink out or transportation possibilities. See some snap shots of this recommended location below ...
