I wish you all a happy Chinese Ney Year!
Happiness and luck should accompany you the whole year of the dog!

As of January 29th, 2006 the Chinese New Year 4703 has started. Every year Chinese people celebrate the Spring Festival according to the lunisolar calendar. This year is the year of dog, one of twelve branches, represented by different animals. Green is the color of wood, one of five elements, represented with their associated color.
Upcoming from February, 18th 2007 on will be the year of the Fire Pig, presented in red color.

Therefore I made another time a linocut to use it for this year's New Year cards (copy can be seen on the right side). There is much more to tell about the Chinese calendar, so stay tuned to read updates on this site.

Again, I wish you all a healthy and prosperous Chinese New Year - 恭賀新禧 MIKE.
