As of the Chinese New Year has started. Every year Chinese people celebrate the Spring Festival according to the lunisolar calendar. This year is the year of , one of twelve branches, represented by different animals. is the color of , one of five elements, represented with their associated color.

Therefore I made another time a linocut to use it for this year's New Year cards (copy can be seen on the right side). This year I participate also in the "Year of the Rabbit International Print Exhibition" at PROOF Studio Gallery, Toronto Canada with over 130 other artists from all around the world.
